Through Prayer and meditation, the Lord revealed to me His plan of redemption using the Old Testament. These revelations started about 2 years ago and are the central focus of my being led to Theology as my major. This class has had a direct impact on an area the Lord showed me as part of our redemptive walk. My entire research paper will expound upon what I attempt to explain here. 

The Lord has shown me 5 areas in redemption. A prison Cell, A stronghold, A wilderness, A conquest, and A garden

• The Prison Cell: is derived from the Hebrew’s time in slavery, or bondage. These are the areas resulting from Heavy trauma and legal rights. Every believer is a slave to the flesh till the Lord sets them free. Some people need the Lord to come and set them free of more than that. Trauma and generational issues can necessitate a need for Heavy prayer sessions, Deliverance, and inner healing. 
• The Stronghold:  parallels the slaves escaping Egypt, the Lord Led them with a pillar of smoke by day, and fire by night out of captivity. Strongholds are lies and false beliefs that attempt to tear down the Truth of God’s love for us. God’s truth leads us away from our former captivity.
• The Wilderness: This begins with God’s covenant with us as He originally established at Sinai, we Christians live under a new covenant. When we accept Christ as our Lord and savior, we are all brought into immediate covenant with Jesus. The Hebrews were brought to covenant and spent the next 40 years in the Wilderness, Jesus was baptized and immediately lead into the Wilderness. It is an area we all must go through.

What follows is what the Lord showed me through this Survey of the Old Testament, its fresh so bear with me, please

• The Conquest: After our preparedness in the Wilderness, the lord brings us to a time and place to conquer the land. This land is inside us all, it is the land on which he wants to build his new Kingdom. The Kingdom of Heaven! This crucial area of our redemption is when we start living in declaration, that no weapon shall be formed against us, that He is for us! It is when we start living in ‘Identity” of “Kingdom Self” (Gentempo, 2022) (What my mentor calls it) Hee-hee
• The Garden: This is the true point of redemption, knowing and dwelling in intimacy with the father! He created us in a Garden, and to the Garden he wishes to restore us to! He walked with Adam in the cool of the Day, and wants to do so with each of us!
